Living in the Present Moment

Where are you living at the present time? In a nice home somewhere here in Queensland, in a lovely house looking over Table Cape in Tasmania or at Brighton in Christchurch. Where ever you are living at the present time, have you thought about how you are spending your time and at what cost.

My beautiful daughter had a birthday recently and she chose to spend her time jumping out of a place – a perfectly good plane!! at 14,000 feet. When I asked her why she wanted to celebrate her birthday jumping (or being pushed) out of a plane, she replied with ‘why not’? It will be one of those memorable moments in her life where she spend that moment living her life just the way she wanted to.

So often like all of us we get caught up in working to make a living, visiting family and friends, studying and more working. The days move by very quickly and before we know it another year has passed. 2009 is shaping up to be quite challenging for many and more so than ever it is important to define the moments in which you live as much as you can.

One of the most positive ways to do that is to physically and emotionally STOP for a moment and visualise in your mind how you are Living in the Present Moment, and what you would like your Present Moment to be.

Try it, it really works! Why does it work?

Because when you are in the moment, you are not thinking of anything else, the challenges, the pressures that life presents us with at times, all of that will be in your past thoughts. If you find that you are thinking of the negatives, the pressures and the challenges then the MOMENT HAS PASSED.

The more you practice this skill the more LIVING IN THE PRESENT MOMENTS you will have. The more you practice, the more you will increase these moments and what a reward you will receive.

MOMENTS are precious, define the MOMENT in which you choose to live your life!

How are you LIVING IN THE MOMENT

What thoughts have been in your mind from reading this blog. Even though it can be challenging, it is so true to work towards as much as possible. When we have an open mind then this makes it easier to live in the present moment.

I really appreciated your comment, thank you.
